Exams are over yay :D

So my exams are finally over and I've got a lot of spare time (at least ant the weekends) to do nothing.
I don't know anymore how I found out about them but currently I am listening to a lot of SWIM DEEP a four piece band from Birmingham. I had the chance to see them play live 2 month ago and they are REALLY  good. If you get the chance to see them- do it. They make the kind of music which makes you feel good.  I like it a lot that the bass line is a major thing in almost all of their songs.
Their songs make you want to dance and if you close your eyes you can imagine the sun on your skin (yeah seems cheesy but their music just feels like summer) That is definitely a band to see at a festival when it's hot -that would be the ideal setting at least for me.
I like honey a lot but it's probably King City which got me hooked in the last weeks. I guess one can better understand what I mean talking about summer after having listened to King city. Perfect roadtrip song :D So grab you sunglasses, suncreme and some friends and listen to them (preferentially live). Just that you know- whoever reads this -their debut album is out August 5th ;)
